4 ways to get motivated this winter

1. Get some light

The average number of daylight hours in the winter is around 7-8, compared to around 16 in the summer. That’s a lot of dark hours! Light has a direct impact on our natural body rhythms, so going to college or uni when it’s dark and leaving when it’s dark can really take it’s toll on your mood. To avoid this, try to get outdoors as much as you can during the daytime (so make sure to wrap up warm!) and you could even replace your standard lights with some brighter ones too.

2. Get active!

Staying active throughout the winter months is such a good way to keep your spirits up.
