Face

I think that a good place to start with a makeup refresh is a brand-spanking-new foundation. One of my personal faves is this Clinique 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer. For under £25, I think it’s an absolute steal. Next up is this beaut Laura Geller Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl Blush; personally, I’m more of a blush over bronzer kinda girl’ but rest assured, House of Fraser have a fabulous range of both. I think this blush is perfect for adding a subtle hint of colour to your face. Finally, this Benefit High Beam Highlighter is dreamy if you want to give your cheekbones a little bit of oomph.

Eyes

With eyes, I think 3 staples include a palette, an eyeliner and a mascara. For the eyeshadow palette, I just couldn’t resist the heavily sought after Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. Lips

Taking care of lips is important, so why not top up your makeup bag with a good lipbalm. This Kiehl's No Shine Lip Balm is made so that it doesn’t interfere with your lip colour; it’s colourless and has no shine so it’s super easy, and at £7.20 it’s even easier to justify. My next lip product of choice had to be a lipstick - this Tom Ford Lips and Boys Lipstick is the ultimate makeup bag refresh treat. But hey, lipstick is a girl's bestfriend! Finally, if you’re after a little bit of on-the-go shine, this NARS Lip Gloss is ideal; my personal fave is ‘sweet dream’. Pucker up!
