Art is for everyone: NYC museums with student discounts

NYC is a top destination for art and culture, thanks in large part to the many iconic museums in the city. Whether you’re an art aficionado or only go to galleries for the gram, museum visits are a must for any trip to the Big Apple.

The New York Public Library just announced that a library card can now get you free access to over 30 museums and cultural institutions in the city. Although only NYC residents can benefit from the free museum pass program through the NYPL, students everywhere can take advantage of discounts off the admission prices at some of the best museums in the city. Plus, many museums have designated hours during which admission prices are lowered significantly or waived entirely.

Next time you visit NYC, bring your student ID card and experience the best that the city has to offer without paying full price.
