Their Berry Buttermilk Pancakes are topped with a decadent dollop of English borage honey and Greek yoghurt to balance the sweetness, while the classic bacon and syrup combo is upgraded by replacing the bacon with pancetta, while crunch is added in the shape of savoury granola.

Banyan - Manchester

Banyan is pulling out all the stops with their American-style pancakes, and you can go one step further by pairing it with one of their brunch cocktails for the ultimate midday treat. The sugar-fueled madness at The Diner’s Pancake Day celebrations begin with a vegan-friendly mint chocolate chip flavoured bright green stack, perfect for the ‘gram. Not sure about green pancakes? The Boozy Black Forest Pancake with Creme De Cassis and cherry compote will delight, almost as much as their s'mores-inspired creation with chocolate and marshmallows.

No 11 Pimlico Road - London

This modern gastropub in Sloane Square is introducing a classy collection of ricotta pancakes with floral infusions this Pancake Day. One of the inventive creations not only features poached rhubarb and orange creme fraiche, lavender caramel gives the stack a sharp and sweet contrast. There are also savoury stacks to sink your teeth into, including the Kimchi Pancakes with smoked salmon and basil mayo.

Riding House Cafe - London

The Riding House Cafe in Fitzrovia is another venue breaking out the buttermilk batter for their breakfast menu.
