Festival season is here and now’s the time to go all out and wear something you normally wouldn’t. I’ve pulled together this season’s hottest festival fashion trends so you can have all the fun whilst looking the part. It’s time to go for those bright colours, crazy prints and statement tights. And don’t forget all the glitter!

1. Mesh

Mesh is probably up there as my favourite festival trend. It’s so versatile and can look great as a bodysuit or as an oversized t-shirt dress with a crop top and shorts underneath. You’ll also find that you keep coming back to it, as it’s perfect for a night out.

2. Cycling shorts

Like leggings, but shorter and just as comfy! Cycling shorts seems to be a bit like Marmite where you either love them or you hate them. But if you ask me I think you should give them a chance… especially for festival season. They’re much more practical than skirts and look great with a simple oversized tee.

3. Neon

If there’s one place where neon is a must, it has to be at a festival this summer. Whether you kill two trends in one with some neon cycling shorts or keep it a little more subtle with some neon socks to go with your chunky trainers.

4. Flare trousers

Another practical and comfortable option for festival season. If the weather’s a little colder, flare trousers will be a good option. Style them with a crop top and you’re good to go!
