1. Leather
Winter may be slowly on its way out but leather is here to stay for the warmer months too. Instead of opting for the usual black leather, it’s now time to mix it up with some coloured options. Perfect for the summer reasons, leather shorts are a classic staple so why not go all out in a colour of your choice.
2. Neon
Neon made it’s big comeback on the runway a few seasons ago but the good news is it’s here to stay. Whether you’re a convert to the neon trend or not, this time round it’s all about opting for sunset tones. Instead of 90’s rave and highlighter pens… think tequila sunrise vibes.
3. Big bags
Move over mini bags, the larger variation is having a moment. Forget bags you can just about get your phone in, these large tote bags have space for everything you need and more. From heading to the gym after uni or going over to your best mates house for the night… oversized bags are the perfect and practical way to add a statement to your outfit.
4. Statement suits
The best way to look chic and put together is by colour blocking your outfit, and a statement suit is the best opportunity to do exactly that. This trend is picking up again and we know we’re going to be seeing all the pastel coloured suits across the catwalks. To nail another trend in one, wear your suit with some bermuda shorts.
5. Comfort is key
If dressing smart isn’t really for you then you’ll be pleased to know that loungewear and tracksuits are going to be big, especially if it’s a matching two-piece. Pair this look with your coordinated look with your go-to trainers and a formal coat for a mix of smart casual.
6. Chain necklaces
Whether it’s a chunky necklace taking inspo from your bike chain or something more subtle like a lock on a delicate chain… chain like necklaces are making a statement which will have every gold-lover swooning. Think the chunkier the better, and don’t forget you can layer your necklaces too for double the effect.
