To top it off, this place has also been named one of Britain's top Indian restaurants, so if you’ve had a long day of back-to-back lectures, it’s the perfect place to go for Bombay Dazzlers, Juicy Bhangras and Chai Spiced Ciders to enjoy with the city’s best bhajis.

The best for dance music: Mint Club

This internationally renowned club is closing next year so now is your time to see some of the world's most exciting underground dance artists, as well as massive names such as Seth Troxler, David Rodigan and Skream to celebrate its spectacular 20 years. Its spirit still lives on through the refurbished Mint Warehouse which will be releasing its programming and events in early 2019, so you dance-heads will still have a place to hang.

The best for a hangover cure: Absurd Bird

Every awful hangover is a right of passage at uni, all you can do is make sure you’re well hydrated and well fed. Luckily, Absurd Bird is on hand to give you soul-warming comfort food from the deep south. Their sharing buckets of monster wings are perfect for groups of students with sore heads; there’s also mouthwatering chicken and waffle trays and classic burgers to chow down, and shots of moonshine if you need a little hair of the dog.
