Are you one of the 1.5 million 16-17 year olds that are denied the vote in the UK?
Want to get involved in supporting the campaign for #Votesat16? Here are the seven steps to tell you how...
Find out who your MP is at theyworkforyou.com
Get your MP's contact information (Twitter and email address) from this site
Find out if your MP supports Votes at 16. Your MP's stance on Votes at 16 can be found on here
Write to or email your MP to encourage them to attend the Private Member’s Bill on 3 November
Create a 45-second video on a phone/tablet with two key messages - firstly, why votes at 16 is so important and secondly, asking them to attend the Private Member’s Bill
Post the video on Twitter and Tweet your MP, using their handle and the hashtag #VotesAt16
If you or your MP do not have Twitter, then you can send them the video in an email to the address that you previously found from the Parliament website in the second point.
