The digital marketing industry is huge - so huge, that you’re pretty much guaranteed to have some kind of interaction with the industry, no matter what career path you decide on.
Digital Cadets is a free, one day event for any university student in their final year of study. The day aims to give students an overview on all things digital marketing, including sessions with Martin Curtis, Head of Performance at Google and Karen Ganshow, General Manager of Consumer Marketing at NAB.
In addition to this, there will be information on salary expectations, interactive workbook session on the difference between paid, owned and earned media, as well as the opportunity to meet recent digital marketing graduates, to learn how they found the transition into the digital industry.
There will be representatives from Google and Randstand in attendance, scouting for new interns at their respective companies. You never know, you might even score a job out of the day.
Digital Cadets will take place in the Steve Waugh room at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday May 11. The event is COMPLETELY 100% FREE, so you’d be a wally to not go.
As there’s limited spaces available, students who are interested should apply here. Students who apply also go in the running to win a Google Pixel 2 phone and $500 to spend on UNiDAYS.
