UNiDAYS recently collaborated with Project Everest Ventures to bring to life a unique opportunity for students to win an international internship like no other.

The lucky winner will get the chance to really make a difference by heading to Fiji to get hands-on in country experience, working with a team of university students to develop a sustainable, tailored business solution tackling a social issue. Sounds amazing right?

Congrats, Isabella! How does it feel to have won?

It feels incredible to have won. Everyone has their doubts when entering competitions, especially when I met some of the other people who entered throughout the process and they were awesome people with just as much life experience and willingness to do this. So when I got the call I was absolutely speechless, overwhelmed and was on such a high. I can’t wait.

What made you want to enter this comp?

I entered this competition because of my passion to help people. Being supported to go over and help a community and make a difference in their lives is something that genuinely makes me excited and I can’t wait to get over there.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and Law at the University of Tasmania. My hobbies include reading, collecting female empowering art, sleeping, FOMO and any sport I can get my hands on. Some of my passions include helping people, finding out more about how awesome women are, eating and finding a good tv show.

What words do you live by?

“Everything happens for a reason". It’s something that gets me through the hardest of situations and I strongly believe that everything that happens in my life and every choice I make is something that is happening for a reason for my own personal growth as a human.
