All this rain preventing you from getting your fitness fix? Well maybe now is the perfect time to try out some new sports to get you through the wintery months. Here are three winter sports I recommend to anyone who wants to try.
1. Squash
For those of you who prefer to break a sweat safely within four walls during the colder months, Squash could be the one for you. It's fast-paced, keeping you on your toes and there's certainly no time for a breather once you step into the small court. Squash is no only great for keeping you fit, it's also a great sport for testing your reactions and coordination. Remember, always keep your eye on the ball!2. Netball
Who said Netball's just for girls? If you're looking for a good cardio workout, why not round out a group of mates and drag them down to your local court for a match or two. All the running, sprinting, quick change of direction will have your heart rate up in no time.3. Rugby League
You didn't think I'd miss off Rugby did you? If you've never actually played rugby then you've clearly been living under that big ol' rock for too long! Why not join a local recreational team this winter to work out with.
