Well HELLO all you early adopters out there in Australia and New Zealand - you’ve proved yourselves yet again. It’s no secret that tech companies like to test out new product features in the lands down under, and this time it’s tinder’s turn.
We know what you’re thinking - has tinder invented a feature that detects all fuc bois/grls, alerting other users to their unsavoury behaviours? No. But what they have done is introduced a news feed, which works a bit like the old Facebook newsfeed before it was overtaken by dog memes and girls decorating their brows like christmas trees.
The feed feature will include recent tinder photo updates and integration with apps like Instagram and Spotify. This means that you’ll be able to have a sneak peek into the listening habits of users that you’ve previously matched with and see if you are an actual good match IRL. All we can say is AMEN, because we’ve all had that experience when we’ve felt a deep connection with someone, only to have it shattered late in the game when you’re on date three and they reveal that their favourite band is Nickelback.
The feed feature is currently available in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, so get swiping.
