Now I don’t know about you but I love a dirty dog! Sure, I love a burger too but the hype has always been with the burger, it’s time to give the sausage a little loving. I’m not talking about your sad old, floppy frankfurter from a tin or a jar. I’m talking meaty, juicy, insanely topped goodness. Real Insta-worthy food porn!

Now that I’m no longer channelling Adam Richman, let’s run down my list of 5 of the dirtiest dogs you guys can get your mitts on.

1. Chilli Dog - MEATmission

First up on the list is this classic. A chilli dog from the guys behind the MEATliquor bars and diners. The Chilli Dog is your favourite smoked frank, topped with seriously good chilli, jalapenos, onions, cheddar and plenty of french’s mustard.

2. Magic Breakie Dog - BubbleDogs

Ever spent an entire day thinking about the tasty hot dog you’re gonna have that evening? Well, now you don’t have to wait. BubbleDogs have rustled up this nuts breakfast dog just for you. It’s got all the good stuff: fried eggs, bacon and my personal fave, black pudding! Feel guilty, stuffing your face for breakfast? £1 is donated to the Magic Breakfast charity for each Breakie Dog sold!

3. Dog The Bounty Hunter - Burger

Burger is a meaty restaurant based in Edinburgh. Being Scotland-based you’d expect nothing more than a fried chocolate treat to be included somewhere. Dog The Bounty Hunter comes packed with a deep fried Bounty, chilli fried cabbage and ponzu mayo!

4. The Boston - Primo’s Gourmet Hot Dogs

If you like BBQ, this dog’s got your back. The Boston is all about simple, classic BBQ flavours. Smothered in sauce, topped with bacon and Monterey Jack, The Boston is served up in a straight white to let the toppings do the talking. You can double up for a quid fifty and every Thursday when you buy a hot dog meal, you get a second for just £1.

5. The Ticklish Tikka Dog - Not Dogs

It’s 2017 and no dirty food list would be complete without a vegan option! The guys over at Not Dogs are absolutely smashing it and have a menu of 7 different 100% vegan dogs. My favourite is the Ticklish Tikka. A vegan dog, topped with Quorn tikka masala, crushed poppadoms and coriander.
