When I saw that River Island (one of my favourite shops) was doing an amazing 20% student discount event, I jumped at the chance to nip in to my local store and snap some pics of the items at the top of my wishlist.
I think that you’re best to invest in key pieces while you can get some money off of them! A new bag is essential for carrying all your books and papers around uni - I love a neutral coloured one like beige, black or white because it will go with literally any outfit in your wardrobe.
Another key Autumnal piece is a new pair of heeled boots. A cleated sole makes life easier when the weather isn't great (which it never is in the UK let’s be honest) and a chunky heel is much more comfortable to walk in.
If you’re not a heels kinda girl (I’m a heels-only kinda girl) then River Island also have some amazing flat shoes right now. A cute pair of brogues or loafers would be great for the new season.
This season is all about texture and I am head-over-heels for this crocodile print skirt. It combines two of my favourite colours (burgundy and olive green) and it’ll look great with a jumper and heeled boots as the weather gets colder.
