5 pairs of sunglasses you need this summer

It looks like the sun is here to stay for a little longer, so make sure you're prepared by upgrading your sunglasses game. Here are a few of my current faves right now:

1. Ray-Ban Wayfarer

If you’re looking to make an investment, you can’t go wrong with some Ray-Bans. The Wayfarers are a classic frame that’ll never go out of style and they come in a range of colours/sizes to suit every face shape. They might be on the more expensive side but the cost per wear will be well worth it.

2. Glitter Lens

Aviators are another classic option when it comes to sunglasses. You’ll be able to find them pretty much anywhere on the high street but for a pair that really stands out, head to Urban Outfitters. These glitter lenses are a must-have and are perfect for festival season.

3. Diamond frame sunglasses

These diamond frame sunglasses from Topshop scream retro. They are a super affordable option too at just £14 and come in a couple of different colours. I personally love this green and gold pair.

4. Tortoiseshell Square Frame

The print might be classic but the shape of the frame and the matte finish are anything but. They’re super oversized meaning they’d look great with a slick back pony and Bardot neckline.

5. Rounded half frame

80s style skinny sunglasses have definitely made a comeback this summer and if you’re on the lookout for an affordable pair, look no further than Pretty Little Thing. Available in black, brown and white, these are the ultimate stylish accessory to sport this season and they’re less than £20!
