The Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in LA last night. And this time, unlike the Golden Globes, the stars left their black dresses behind as they sparkled in style. With an all-female list of presenters, it was Three Billboard Outside Ebbing, Missouri which won big. Now it’s time to talk about the sparkly dresses the celebs wore to the glamorous event:
Millie Bobby Brown
Who says you can’t wear Converse to an awards ceremony? Millie Bobby Brown could not have looked any cuter. With her space buns and Converse, she stole the show on the red carpet pairing her All-Stars with a sequin Calvin Klein dress and black ribbons in her hair. The sparkly pink gown featured a halter neck, tie waist and a floor length train at the back.
Halle Berry
Halle Berry dazzled in a custom Pamella Roland gown on the red carpet last night. The sequin dress featured a plunging neckline, tulle train and intricate embroidery. Keeping things simple Halle opted for minimal jewellery and a slick ponytail which let the dress to the talking.
Margot Robbie
Channeling old Hollywood glamour, Margot Robbie also opted for a sparkly, dusty pink dress. With feather detailing and silver embellishments, her Miu Miu A-line number was beautifully breathtaking.
Nicole Kidman
Whilst accepting her first SAG awards for her performance in ‘Big Little Lies’, Nicole had tears in her eyes as she explained how moved she was to accept the award. Wearing a floor-length copper coloured sequin gown, she looked flawless and sophisticated. Red glossy lips and an updo completed the look.
Sadie Sink
Sadie Sink, who plays Mad Max in Stranger Things, looked super chic wearing Chanel last night. The white embellished dress looked stunning, but also not too over the top for the 15-year-old star.
