SXSW kicked off festival season last month and from here on out it's festival after festival for months and we are totally loving it. Here's our top 8 festivals that you need to hit up this summer for your fix of music, parties and all out fun. From pop-punk to electro dance, there's something for everyone.
1. Coachella
From rock gods Guns n Roses to pop princess Ellie Goulding, there's so much going on a Coachella over the two weekends in April as well as the epic amounts of music there's art installations, a farmer's market and all the amazing food and drink trucks you could ever want. 2. Vans Warped Tour
Embrace the pop-punk, metal and rock lover inside of you, the Vans Warped Tour is the most badass festival there is this summer. The best bit? It travels all over the country so there will definitely be a stop along the way and a date that you can get to. Kicking off on June 22 and finishing on August 13, that's almost two months of pure punk Heaven. With bands like Atreyu, Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, Reel Big Fish and Sleeping With Sirens, it's gonna get messy! 3. Electric Daisy Carnival New York
For all you East Coasters, hit up EDC from 14-15th May and indulge your inner party animal! With acts like Oliver Heldens, Afrojack, Zedd and DJ Snake, it's sure to be one hell of a party.4. Bonnaroo
With late night sets from Tame Impala, Miguel and The Chainsmokers , funky Glamping tents so that you can camp in style and tons of arts and music events happening, Bonnaroo is spread over 700 acres of Tennessee nature so if you fancy a festival that's really in the great outdoors, this is it! 5. Lollapalooza
Chicago-dwellers, this one's right on your doorstep! Ideal if you love your indie and rock music. Acts gracing the stages of Lollapalooza are City & Colour, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, Haim, The 1975 and Foals to name just a few that I'd love to see!6. Essence Festival
Mariah Carey. That is all. Well, no, not really but I mean if Mimi is there, I'm there. Plus Kendrick Lamar, Maxwell and more!7. BottleRock
Hit up BottleRock in the Napa Valley to catch Stevie Wonder, Florence + The Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to name but a few! Did I mention there's like unlimited wine in the Napa Valley and the fact that the food is incredible? Get your tickets now!
