Spring beauty trends you need to know

As we get into spring formal/semiformal season (and also...just a new season full of fun makeup experiment opportunities), let’s take a look at the makeup trends you’ll want to play around with this season.

Monochromatic

Matching your eye and lip colors will be a big thing this spring. Make them go with your outfit and you’ll look like you just walked off the red carpet.

...OR multicolored!

Calling all artists!!! This spring, think of your eyelids as a blank canvas. It’s all about mixing colors and coming up with a beautiful, multicolored composition.

Fresh out of the facialist

We’re loving the dewey, clean, right-out-of-the-facialist glow this spring (especially because it’s so easy to achieve, and will actually let our skin breathe a bit!). Don’t worry about piling on matte setting powder- it’s all about the natural glow (and adding some highlighter certainly helps)!

Colored eyeliner

Go bold! The eyes are a main focus this spring, and basically anything goes. Add a pop of colored liner to bring some ~drama~ to any event.

Neon lids (and lips)

If you’ve been keeping up with our blog, you know that neon is THE move this spring for everything: clothes, accessories, makeup...even hair color! Whether you want to add a bright lip, bright liner, bright eyeshadow, OR all three, we support you.

Artistic liner

Tbt to when I said a few sentences ago that it’s all about the statement eye this year. If you followed Lucy Boynton’s looks from the Red Carpets for Bohemian Rhapsody this year, you know that there’s SO much fun to be had with eyeliner designs. Go crazy, and have fun!

Pink!!!

Pink is the color of the season, and we want to see you bring your A game. Pink eyes, pink lips, pink hair- you name it- it’s all welcomed (and encouraged)!

Am I the only one who is PUMPED about this?? Time to shimmer and shine like we were BORN TO.

A classic red lip

It’s like Taylor Swift’s birthday came early! That red lip, classic thing that (s)he likes back is in ~style~ this spring!

Glossy

Gloss. Gloss EVERYWHERE. Lipgloss is having a big moment, but we’re not stopping there. Glossy eyeshadow is going to be popping up on influencers everywhere soon, so keep a (glossy) eye out!

Blush tones

So romaaaaaantic! Find the shade that best compliments your skin tone and get that warm, rosy glow on!

Bold brows (obvi)

They’re not going anywhere yet! Give your tweezers a break and make those brows pop. Brow pencils are a great thing to invest in right now- but make sure to pick the right shade for you!

Pantone colored hair

This is the coolest. Keep an eye out for bold, bright, and colorful hair this spring. If ever there was a time to take a risk with your hair color, this is it!
