Green? For the festive season? I know, groundbreaking! But, let’s be honest, how excited are we all for rich reds, metallics and Christmas-tree green to come back into our wardrobe? These amazing colours are definitely on their way back in. But there are a few other trends, hues and textures that I want to chat to you about for the gazillion Christmas parties you’ve got lined up in your iCal.

Green with envy

Let’s kick off with the classic green, but not as you know it. This season’s top piece that everyone and their Insta profile has been rocking, the midi skirt, has had a wintery update with this amazing colour. This will look awesome with chunky knitwear and boots for daytime and a cute cami and heels for the evening.

Green doesn’t get through the Christmas season without meeting it’s bestie mate velvet. These velvet pants just scream Christmas to me and are the ultimate in festive sass.

The end of the rainbow

This is amazing if you love the classic ‘jeans and a nice top’ party look. Pop on your favourite black skinnies and your comfiest heels and you’ll be the happiest queen at the party.

Times have changed with these awesome hosiery updates. We’ve still got our safety blanket of green and sparkles but with a little unicorn-style edge.
