Why just women? What about men?

Despite all the progress made for gender equality, there's still a way to go. For example, female graduates still earn less than their male counterparts – not fair, not cool. We want female-identifying students to feel empowered and confident, plus we've aligned this competition with International Women's Day.

Am I eligible to nominate/enter?

If the bullet points below apply to you, you’re good to go!

You must:

-Be a verified UNiDAYS member

-Be aged 18+

-Be a legal resident of Australia or New Zealand

What does the SWOTY win?

The UNiDAYS x Princess Polly Student Woman of the Year 2020 will receive $2,000 to invest in herself and her passions. We’ll also feature the winner on our site, so the world can learn all about the positive impact she’s making.

Can I nominate more than one person?

You can! Feel free to nominate as many people as you like.

When does the competition close?

This comp is active from March 10, 2020 at 12:01AM (AEST) – April 30, 2020 at 11:59PM (AEST). Please submit your entry before the cut-off date!

Can I nominate myself?

Defo. If you're doing/have done something amazing, you should shout about it! The aim of the comp is to celebrate women and their achievements, so once you’re done with your entry, go ahead and nominate any other inspirational student women in your life, too.

How will I know who’s won?

The winner will be contacted via email/phone/social on 11th May 2020. If the winner can’t be reached or hasn’t claimed the prize within seven days, the judges will select another winner.
