As UNiDAYS’ (un)official Kardashian representative, I am beyond excited for this launch. Why? This is what Australia NEEDS. There is a HUGE gap in the market for size-inclusive clothing and although there are some great brands out there already killin’ it, there is definitely a need for brands to be more aware of size-inclusivity. They can’t afford not to.

Look Good > Do Good > Feel Good

All you need to do is stalk the Good Squad to see that Good American live by their ethos of “everybody deserves to be shown off. Fashion should be made to fit women, not the other way around. Body ideals really have shifted”. Not only do they speak volumes when it comes to body positivity, but a portion of sales from every item sold go towards an organisation that empowers young girls in school to fulfill their potential.

Pulling Big Dk Moves

When G.A launched back in 2016, they were approached by one of the biggest department stores in the US coughNORDSTROMcough who only wanted to stock the “normal” size range. Not only did G.A get them to stock ALL 00 to 24 sizes, but the department store is now actively encouraging existing brands to expand size-choices whilst introducing size-inclusive mannequins.

Re-inventing The Feel

G.A are also creating waves with their sizing by creating a whole new in-between size. Legit. They used their sales data and gathered feedback from customers who felt a size 14 too small and a 16 too big so they just sorta went “fk it, let’s just make a size 15”. Bloody geniuses. Hopefully this paves the way for more uneven size releases!
