I recently wrote an article about brands that are just like Forever21 but better and went on a deep dive into the wonderful world of fast-fashion (and more importantly, which brands offer student discounts). I was surprised to see an outcry from the plus size community in praise of Forever21 and their extensive/inclusive sizing, though I shouldn't have been surprised at all. I shopped exclusively there for years when I was looking for trendy and sexy pieces, but since I've discovered some of these UNiDAYS brands, I'm so so happy to report to you guys that Forever21 isn't your only option!

I know better than anyone that it's not always easy being a plus sized girl in the land of fashion, and often it's downright HARD to find pieces that are on-trend, sexy, and affordable. If you're anything like me, you stalk your favorite plus-sized bloggers in hopes of finding your next go-to brand to shop. SO without further ado, my beautiful plus sized biddies (as one of your brethren!), I'm here to show you that you have tons of options besides Forever21.

Here are our favorite plus-size brands to shop, all of which offer an exclusive UNiDAYS student discount:

1. ASOS Curve (00-26)

I don't know where my wardrobe would be without ASOS/ASOScurve. I can not recommend this site enough. Quality plus size clothing that's on trend and fits well? It's every girls dream. ASOS is the mecca of online fast fashion retail and their fresh selections every week back that up. If you're big on following influencers, you'll see that every plus sized blogger is as obsessed with ASOS as I am!

2. Missguided+ (0-24)

I think the first time I stumbled upon Missguided's plus selection, I cried. Missguided+ is the hottest line for babes of all sizes. Dedicated to directional, strong and confident designs for sizes 12-20, Missguided+ is the perfect platform to up your fashion game and work those curves in style. With form-fitting cuts, super strong shapes and carefully tailored pieces, Missguided+ doesn't compromise on quality and instead celebrates all shapes ‘n’ sizes at affordable prices. It’s time to get ahead of the curve.

3. Boohoo (0-24)

Boohoo is my go-to online shopping site. Not only do they discount deeply and often (yahoo!) their clothing is amazing and they freshen their selection constantly. While the quality is sometimes kind of questionable, it's no worse than Forever21 and the price point is about the same or even cheaper. Since they're based out of the UK (like our friends ASOS & Missguided), shipping does take a bit longer than our stateside brands, but it's well worth it! Honestly, their discounts are out of control and you just can't go wrong.

4. A'GACI (0-24)

As the newest fast fashion brand to join UNiDAYS, I was so excited to see that A'GACI has a killer plus size selection. It's encouraging to see fast-fashion brands join the body positivity movement and showcase clothing that checks all of the boxes on our list.

5. ModCloth (00-26)

Modcloth is definitely one of my favorite places to shop and is great for vintage and retro-inspired pieces. In fact, I haven't been able to find another store for plus-size women with as much range. While some of their clothes are a bit outside my price range, that UNiDAYS discount comes in VERY handy.

6. 2020AVE (XL-3XL)

I was so excited when my colleague alerted me that 2020AVE had a brand new plus size line, but I was even more excited when I checked out their offerings! The quality and price point of 2020AVE is right in our sweet spot as students, and I can't get enough of the way they've styled the line. Thankfully brands are starting to realize that just because we fall under the category of "curvy" and/or "plus" doesn't mean we don't want to show a little skin and feel sexy in the body we're in.
