About Sharleene’s winning design
"My design Coral Flora, is inspired by the Great Australian Barrier Reef. I’m from North Queensland and we get a lot of tourists who come especially for the Great Barrier Reef, and unfortunately in the past few years the reef has suffered from bleaching. Instead of seeing bright vibrant colours, people see the coral essentially lifeless, with no colour - just white. My print conveys the bright vibrant colours the reef should have, and the shapes in my print are inspired by the shapes and outlines of coral."
