How to plan the perfect Galentine’s Day celebration on a budget
Valentine’s Day is around the corner, but don’t forget about your gals! Galentine’s Day is often celebrated on 13th February, but that doesn’t mean you can’t plan the perfect girl’s night in from now!
You’re invited
The first thing to sort is your invite: are you thinking of just sticking it in the GC, or are you looking for something more boujie? Digital invites are the best way to set the tone for your celebrations without spending too much ££ or having to print.
Use Canva, Photoshop or your iPad & iPad pen to create something fun and vibey. Remember to include the date, time and dress code—would you like everyone to wear pink? Is it a PJ party?
What’s cooking?
The next thing to sort is the food! Whether you’re keen to do it all yourself or make it a shared thing, this will start to bring your event together. Need some inspo? Think about:
- Breakfast/brunch: do lighter bites like croissants or faves like pancakes or waffles
- Buffet: it’s the best way to make sure everyone’s happy with the food, grab lots of picky bits for everyone to share and enjoy
- Bring a board: from sweet to savoury everyone can bring a themed board to share
- Takeaway: keep it simple with a takeaway delivered to your door for less stress and less washing up!
Keep it sweet
Show how sweet your love is for your girls with some sweet Galentine’s treats. From pink sweets and cupcakes to candy floss, these will also act as a bit of decor. Remember you can get UNiDAYS discount on delish Krispy Kreme doughnuts too!
